Vintage Persian Wool Area Rug - Over Size

Yazd Persian Rug- Over size

This vintage Persian rug is hand woven in the city of Yazd. Yazd is an ancient city in central Iran between the famous cities of Isfahan and Kerman, surrounded by desert. 
The Yazd rugs have symmetrial Persian knots with three wefts. The number in square inch is much lower than Isfahan and Nain Rugs, but the pile is softer and longer. The quality of the wool is fine and the natural dye makes the rug look lustrous.
This vintage Yazd rug is 100% wool with all over design, and measures about 330cm x 600cm.
