This wonderful Persian Rug has been 100% hand woven in Tabriz, in the specific colorful fashion, displaying a Nami design. The foundation is of silk and the weaving cords employed of wool and silk. It is classed as a small Persian Rug (3x5-5x8), its size being 215 x 156 (cm), 7’0 x 5’1 (ft).The rug has a mixed pale background colors, consisting of blue, cream, and mauve. The model displays a centered floral medallion while the main body appears under the form of another, much larger medallion. A lot of floral motifs decorate the body of the rug, among them treasure chests, flamingos, and dears are present. There are also displayed vases, treasure chests, and in the corners paisleys. The border displays large Assyrian motifs, courtroom scenes, vases, chariots, monuments, warriors, etc.
