The foundation of the rug consists of silk while the employed weaving materials are silk and wool. It is classed as a small Persian Rug (3x5-5x8), its size being 100 x 150 (cm), 3’3 x 4’11 (ft). The background is pinkish-beige and it is heavily decorated with a bilateral symmetrical floral display, in shades of brown and blue. The design is dotted with birds.
