This elegant 100% hand woven Tabriz Persian Rug bears the signature of Mirzaei. Silk represents its foundation while silk and wool its weaving materials. It displays a beautiful four season 30 alternating grid (5 x 6) cassettes, depicting floral and wildlife scenes. Goats, wild goats, deer, and birds are present. The cassettes’ backgrounds are blue, pale blue, pale pink, pale mauve, and camel brown, according to the scene depicted. The colors used vary from stronger shades of black, brown, green, blue, and claret to softer nuances of turquoise, blue, green, petrol grey, purple, mauve, pink, and brown.
