This is a magnificent pure silk Persian Qum. The rug is a brand new piece but woven about 50 yrs ago.
This rug is truly one of a kind. It is so magnificent that you really have to see it in person to realize the beauty of this master piece.
This rug will always increase in value due to the size, quality and being a pure silk. They do not weave such size any more in Persia and therefore this becomes a very rare piece.
You must pay attention to lot of details and the picture speak for it self. This rug is woven by one of the most famous master weaver Mr Mohammadian and it does have his signature in the middle top portion if the rug.
Also this rug is very unique and probably the only silk in the world which has the crown of the King of Persia(Shah) woven into the 4 corner of the rug.
